Sorry to hear about Carl. I think shrimps are just very difficult to keep.
Catfish on the other hand seem to survive very well, which is why I felt Freud deserved a name. My other fish are a bit hard to tell apart and so I can't really name them. But my girl(?) catfish will now be known as Carla.

I got given a type of sandpit for my birthday- it is a mini zen garden. It has a mini rake for the sand, and some miniture temples and rocks. It is very fun to play with and wont ever die.
So a sandpit isn't such a bad idea. [img]smile.gif[/img]

I have some orchids- but the flowers fell off and now they never bloom! I don't understand! I water them all the time!

I've not yet sunk to the point of dressing up rocks.

CP- funny you say that shrimp are hard to care for, but catfish are hardy- The guy at the pet store told me the exact opposite. My experience, at least, concurs with your opinion. I've raised catfish before and they out-survived everybody else in the tank.

I'm glad you named one freud- it's sweet. Lets hope the name brings better luck to fish than invertebrates.
